Update as of July 14, 2025
The debris from the fire has been removed from the store and we are hoping the rebuild process will begin in the near future (pending insurance approvals). The items that didn’t parish in fire have been sent to a third party cleaners who will try to restore smoke damaged items, if possible. We will contact you regarding the status and pick up procedure. Some of the records (clothing tags) were lost in the fire, so we will clean those items and have them available for you to identify and pick up when we have completed the process. Some of the items we can still identify with tags. We will clean those items and deliver them to you. We will keep you updated here on our website.
From the City of Santa Rosa Public Records:
“Based on my investigation and burn patterns observed in the area of origin, the fire is ruled accidental, and the cause is undetermined, however, I cannot rule out the possibility of an electrical malfunction, mechanical failure, or another unidentified heat source.”
